Concrete Protection

Our Concrete Protection & Reinforcement (CPR) will protect your concrete tank against corrosion through chemical attacks and moisture penetration. It will extend the lifetime of the concrete structure considerably. Our concrete protection offers, through its unique anchoring loops, a perfect bond to the concrete. The concept of the loops has been in practice in several applications where long-life spans are in demand.

Material

Concrete protection foil consists of a loop fabric coated with a heavy duty polypropylen which has been specifically developed to withstand the aggressive climate inside the Biogas Digester. These sheets are being installed on the inside of the Digester from the top down. All though the areas above the fluid are under the heaviest attacks, often the sheets are installed from top to bottom. The sheets are installed onto the formwork by a belting system. The concrete will be poured into the formwork and the unique form, structure and the placement of the loops make the interlocking with the concrete extremely effective.

Concrete protection liners are welded together, thus creating permanent and reliable joints. Depending on the project requirements, heated element butt welding, extrusion and hot wedge welding are necessary for a reliable and leak tight weld, which additionally offers chemical resistance.
