Air system double membrane cover

To keep a stable pressure between the membranes we have 3 critical components; blowers, air supply system and air relief system. For each and every single double membrane cover we calculate and design the perfect fit for the given situation.

Blowers

In order to make sure the pressure between the membranes is as steady as possible, our blowers make sure that enough air is being blown between the two membranes at all times! We have 2 standard types of blowers that we use nowadays: The FRv110 and the FRv110+. With these 2 options most of the systems will be 100% equipped for the needed gas production and gas withdrawal. On request we can make a calculation on the amount of air that the blower will be able to get into the roof and at what pressure. The FRv075 is a blower that was used a lot a few years ago. For new membranes we do not use it anymore, but as s replacement for older installation this could be a perfect option as well! Upon request we can offer type of blower that might be needed in your project.

Air supply system

For further stabilizing the air system we use a very well-looking and high-quality air supply system. The air supply systems is mainly made out of HDPE to provide a long-lasting system. The air supply system is meant to get the pressure and flow from the blower between the membranes. We must be careful when choosing the correct system and the correct diameter of the system to make sure the blower still is able to deliver as much pressure and flow into the roof as is needed on the project. Standard we use diameters of 110 mm or 160 mm for the air supply system. Upon request we can deliver in any wanted diameter.

Air relief system

When the blower and the air supply system are working correctly, the pressure between the membranes should never drop below the desired air pressure. But to prevent the roof form a too high pressure, a well-calculated air relief system is extremely important! We will set the air relief system the desired air pressure. The valves on the systems will open when this pressure is reached and will make sure the too much of pressure and/or the too much of flow is released into the air. With these systems we will always be able to maintain the correct pressure and assure a working system! In the same dimensions as for the air supply system we have the standard systems in stock! This means the 110 mm diameter and 160 mm diameter air relief systems are always on stock in our warehouse!
