Air system biogasdomes
To keep a stable pressure between the membranes of the biogasdomes we have 3 critical components; blowers, air supply system and air relief system. For each and every single double membrane cover we calculate and design the perfect fit for the given situation.
Blowers
in order to make sure the pressure between the membranes of a Biogasdome is as steady as possible, our blowers make sure that enough air is being blown between the two membranes at all times! For the biogasdomes the pressures and the flows are usually a lot higher than in the double membrane roofs. Therefore we strongly advise our clients to have us calculate the needed air flow and air pressure for their project. On request we can make a calculation on the amount of air that the blower will be able to get into the roof and at what pressure. These blowers can very from the small FRv075, Frv110 and FRv110+ to very big blowers for 30-35 mbar and flows up to 5.000 m3/h! So a good calculation is important!
Air supply system
For further stabilizing the air system we use a very well-looking and high-quality air supply system. The air supply systems is mainly made out of HDPE to provide a long-lasting system. The air supply system is meant to get the pressure and flow from the blower between the membranes. We must be careful when choosing the correct system and the correct diameter of the system to make sure the blower still is able to deliver as much pressure and flow into the roof as is needed on the project. Given the very wide range of pressures and flows that can be seen on these biogasdomes, we would advise to have a calculation made to prove the correct diameter for the given pressure and flow in your project!
Air relief system
When the blower and the air supply system are working correctly, the air pressure should never drop below the given figures. But to prevent the roof form a too high pressure, a well-calculated air relief system is extremely important! We will set the air relief system the desired air pressure. The valves on the systems will open when this pressure is reached and will make sure the too much of pressure and/or the too much of flow is released into the air. With these systems we will always be able to maintain the correct pressure and assure a working system! We can calculate the needed valves and the needed dimensions on the pipework for any given situation!
