Concrete protection material

Our concrete protection foil is composed of a loop fabric coated with heavy-duty polypropylene, which has been specifically developed to withstand the aggressive environment inside a biogas digester. These protective sheets are installed on the inside of the digester, starting from the top and working downwards. Although the areas above the fluid are subjected to the heaviest attacks, it is common practice to install the sheets from top to bottom to ensure comprehensive protection. The installation process involves securing the sheets onto the formwork using a belting system. Concrete is then poured into the formwork, and the unique form, structure, and placement of the loops make the interlocking with the concrete extremely effective.

Concrete protection liners are welded together to create permanent and reliable joints. Depending on the project requirements, different welding techniques such as heated element butt welding, extrusion, and hot wedge welding are employed to ensure reliable and leak-tight welds. These welding methods also contribute to the chemical resistance of the concrete protection.
